Interesting stuff about the Tapuis(sp), etc. JR was surprising non-climbing literate. He's all is it "climbing or science?" Honnold should have explained that the climbers were hired as riggers and guides, to allow a team of scientists to ascend safely, and be among the first to set foot on a previously unvisited rainforest summit.
Honnold is clearly smart, articulate with a wry sense of humor, straight alpha but not patronizing. I've seen these traits in other serious climbers.
