Was God going to kill Moses or Moses' son? God tells Moses that he was going to kill the 1st born, so it makes sense thay he was referencing Moses' son. See God already knew what Moses murdered the Egyptian & God already chosen Moses to deliver Israel from Egypt. So why would he call Moses to the burning bush to give him instructions, to only meet with him on the way to his assignment, just to kill him. God does not lie. So it makes sense that God was going to kill Moses' son, but his Moses' wife circumcised her son to save his life.
