Update: Today the news have come out (November 2020) his brain problems are actually genetic, not fighting related, so he might actually be cleared to return fighting

This poor man has what's called an AVM. Your born with it they don't just grow. Basically they are veins and arteries that entangled instead of the blood being able to flow through as it should it builds up under pressure and can produce what's called shunts. The first procedures are what's called embolisation. I had six over the corse of about 3 yrs. for me it didn't work. It's done by making a small incision in your groin area then a what I can only describe as a catheter was worked through the main arteries to the brain. Your awake while this procedure is being done. After that I had the Gamma knife which is also called Radio-Theropy. I was told after about 18 months that this had failed too. This is what the lady with the cage around her head was having. It can make you extremely sick and as I said I had around an 18 month wait. In that time my wife left me. I lost my home. My job. My self confidence. I pushed my children away for selfish reasons. I thought that if I pushed them away if something happened to me they wouldn't miss me as much. ( Stupid I no). In the mean time while all this was going on I suffered 4 brain bleeds. They felt like the worst hangover in the world. Not at the time but a couple of days after. This is because the blood mixes with the fluid in your spine and causes sepsis. In the end the sergical team said the only thing the could do was a full craniotomy . This took around 36 hours. Obviously I have no memory of it. I'm not the same person I once was by no means. But my children have stood by me all the way through this. I'm with someone else now but live back home with my parents. I have a full time job. Also a beautiful grandson. Sorry if what I have written has dragged on but this is the first time I've acutely written any of this down.
