What if the pyramids were created by an advanced civilization (some of them including the great pyramid) were built to send seeds, DNA and technology to survive an oncoming doomsday event from space to future generations? A real ark. When stories relied on word of mouth usually spread by traveling merchants to attract potential customers. Maybe it was easier to understand a boat, who knew what a pyramid was?
