I made my children watch passion of the Christ and Amsted. Pardon my spelling. Every Christmas to teach gratitude and prevent ignorance. They.are inlightened human being ❤
This man is a treasure. Racism is ignorance. Something this man said struck a chord within me, "how can they hate me when they dont even know me?" As a white man I have never understood the hate simply based on skin color. It baffles me how ignorant people are. I respect this man because instead of hating the racists back he desires to understand them and possibly educate them. I have been guilty of hating racist people, they make me mad so I just hated racists right back. That's the wrong path. The hate has got to stop.

2023 and we have totally gone in the reverse. They don't want to teach about slavery and racism. The right thinks it makes kids hate America. Guess what, as Americans we have done some fucked up stuff. We deal with it, and learn from it. The rights viewpoint is "I had nothing to do with it. That was my ancestors, so I don't feel guilty about it." They are missing the point. It's not about guilt. It's about making sure we don't repeat the same mistakes. Unfortunately, I think Joe has regressed in some ways.
In the philippines, we used to call history class, "CIVICS". it seems to be a synonym of social studies which includes history.
So some Americans still use that term up to today, huh.
