Deuteronomy. Moses gives a synopsis.
Moses talks about crossing over and having faith. He tells of people who have land and this land is given by God. The people of Moses must pass through their lands to recieve the land that God has promised them. On each occasion the ruler of each land forced out those already living there. So it was to be with Isreal.
Those that refused to let Isreal pass, were defeated.
Why would God push out those in a land that was so good.
Esau and lot had land and worked that land with God. They thought of God and He talked to them. They lived on a mountain so they thought on a higher level. This thought is shared. Then their are those who have higher knowledge but take it and keep it. They only share with those who will make them more powerful. They fear Isreal because God is with them. They do not want someone to supersede them and take their power. They block Israel's path. God comes to them and takes them away. Those that desire power will take as much as they can. God gives his power to them but with his truth. This overwhelms them.
We all grow at different levels. Some are quick and others take time. But they all think and learn. Some stop at certain levels because they feel comfortable at that place in time. Others just use knowledge for themselves. We learn by looking outwardly and thinking inwardly. We help people grow. Each generation helps growth of thought and awareness. Those that get jealous and thwart others development are spiritually trying to kill. This is said in the Ten commandments. In effect you are killing Christ's message.
Look around. What you see is the collective thought of Mankind and his desires. If you live in a peaceful country, give thanks. Those souls born into war have to work harder. than you
