When we are Born Again by following Jesus' example, @Grace Digital Network, who prayed "not my will, Father, but thy will be done" it's impossible to be lifted up in pride because God will control our every act. I know because the day I followed Matthew 19:29 I surrended even my sex drive to God and everytime my sexual desire arise I consult God if it's his will or my desire. So the key is to, once Born Again, ask God about what action to take in all situations.
