  1. When you get to the end of a book you understand the beginning of the novel by how the novel ends. Everything comes together and you understand.
In this case we are told the beginning in Genisis and we are told the end by Jesus.
Normally the reader would go AH! Now I understand. Jesus looks down from the Cross and says Father forgive them fore they do not understand. The human mind looks at what it sees and experiences now. The human emotion we experience now is pretty much the same as a thousand years ago. Technology has changed but we are the same.
Novels tend to have characters that are stereotypical. Jesus picks 12 stereotypes. Like life, they react to each other and react to what Jesus says in different ways. This means that if you observed from outside looking in, you get an overall picture of Jesus's teaching form 12 different view points.Unfortunately alot of this is now missing from the scripture. The focus is the message and not its reception. Judas represents the infuence of the snake in us. We all do things we regret.
Christ wants all the thought of the world to focus on God. To sacrifice oneself to God. The snake wants your focus also. Christ wants your focus so that he can bring you out of slavery to the snake. Exodus. The snake wants your energy focused on it. The tree of knowledge etc.
Without a focus, our minds tend to wonder. We daydream aimlessly. Jesus Christ becomes our focal point of escape. Caine wonders the Earth. The seducer wonders the Earth going here and there.
This is why the world is chaotic. We focus on ourselves. God focuses on everything and gives energy to everthing. We all choose to use this energy differently according to our focus and understanding.
So we judge Judas and so judge ourselves without knowing. We outwardly judge others because we refuse to see and judge ourselves.
We are so busy looking at the surface of the water that we dont look into it. We look at the surface of scripture but dont delve in deeper. Like the desciples, we say we dont understand and when its spelled out to us we turn away or attack.
Jesus knows that the seed of truth is now sown, whether we like it or not. Like the mustard seed. Christ waits to harvest.

  2. God's plan of redemption, including the death of a redeemer, was conceived before the creation of the physical world as told in 1 Corinthian Ch3. Nothing was left to chance in order to ensure the plan progressed to its conclusion. As the time grew near, Heavenly volunteers were incarnated on earth to carry out the major roles – Mary, Elizabeth, John the Baptist, Saul, sick & blind for healing demonstrations (as evidenced by Jesus's own words regarding the Blind man) and the Disciples including Judas. Judas's role was to ensure that Jesus was handed over to the religious leaders at precisely the right time – though as a human he had no recollection that it was God's desire that he should carry out the role of betrayer. Naturally as a human he later experienced anguish and remorse at what he had done. Jesus was made aware of all the final details of the plan during His Transfiguration a few days earlier when He received a final briefing from His Heavenly advisors on mount Tabor.
