Whoever that other so-called comedian was is ignorance personified. Just from watching this clip, it’s pretty clear why he had trouble winning the Australian audience over. Joe is trying to have a sincere conversation about the indigenous people and culture, and then there’s the other guy who’s making light of the stolen generation.

Im an Aussie,Im heartbroken that you ask questions like , do indigenous folk live in huts- are they dangerous? So insulting and such ignorance. They are in fact the oldest living culture on the planet and have one of the most complex social systems.Many of us cherish them. They have been so badly abused its not funny and much needs to be done to give them a voice and the dignity and respect they deserve. Please make sure you are informed before inadvertently making derogatory comments about them as they need all the support they can get.
