Holy spirit is needed to excell in knowledge and wisdom, many people are carnal minded. 1 Corinthians 2:10. But God has revealed them unto us by His spirit; for the spirit searches all things, yea, the deep things of God. 2:12. Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the spirit which is of God; that we might know the thing's that are freely given to us by God. Some people have spirit of stupor for their protection. Others have the holy spirit. Another reason God won't give the holy spirit to some people is, they may use it for wrong motives, to get someone money or property. It's bad enough with false preachers running around. 2:14. But the natural man received not the things of the spirit of God; for they are foolishness unto him; neither can he know them, because they are spirtualty Discerned. To state again, God gave some people spirit of slumber. If someone is a known spend alcoholic, blows all their money. Would a sensible person trust that person with their own money, I think not !!. Trust is important. Romans chapter 11:7. What then? Israel hath not obtained that which he seeks for; but the Election hath obtained it, and the rest were blinded. The words of the wise men are heard in quiet more than the cry of him that rules among fools. The fool despises God's wisdom, the cross is foolishness to him, delights in folly or ignorance. Their going down dark path. Hades has many people who take this path. What is Hades?? Theirs gulf in paradise that separates the righteousness and the dead, the dead are side of Hades. Theirs no wise men in Hades to help the dead, they have to wait until millennium is over, judgement day, some will get eternal life or destruction. The letter of Romans has a long introduction, but the point Paul wanted to come to, was:
Rom 3:23 – All has sinned..
Rom 3:24 – (and this very 'all' are JUSTIFIED freely by His grace through the redemption that CAME by Christ Jesus'.
One sentence, but people tend to read only the first half of this sentence and never finish what Paul was writing.
