In the classic, “The Phaedrus” written by Plato, which is a dialogue between Plato’s protagonist, Socrates. Another participant in several of the dialogues named Phaedrus is quoted by Plato as saying:
“Things are not always what they seem; the first appearance deceives many; the intelligence of a few perceives what has been carefully hidden.”

Scientific evidence dictates a round Earth does exist. Gravity holds everything together..that's why we are not flying off the Earth right now. It's nighttime where the Sun doesn't shine on the Earth and daytime where it shines. The sun and the moon appear to rotate in the sky as if the Earth is round..setting and rising effect. The weather patterns in the ocean reflect moon changes when it rotates. Photos are consistent of Earth.
