Sorry, Musk is a doer not a thinker! Most of what he has done is decades old ideas only now able to be done because of advances in tech, metals, and tools! I will give him credit for not falling to the normal that’s just how it’s done nonsense but his ego will get in the way likely.

Lex is incridable….one of the best insights about Elon Musk is building things from scratch unlike other companies which form partnerships..
Why would anyone wish to live for even one day never mind colonizing the likes of the Moon and even more so Mars? A week's stay in the middle of the Sahara Desert in the summertime or in the middle of Antarctica would be vastly preferable. Noting to do, nowhere to go and an environment so profoundly lifeless and inhuman that it defies useful description. If you really want to observe the stars, may I suggest a visit to Mauritius or relatively almost infinitely cheaper still a trip to your local planetarium? Seriously folks if the space station does really exists and human beings have actually resided there it is difficult to imagine a more wretched existence. Spending 6 months cooped up in a WWII U-boat constantly worrying about a depth charge unexpectantly and instantly imploding you and your mates into Kindom Come would seem like paradise in comparison. At least you have a chance of keeping your breakfast down long enough to digest a portion of it and take a dump and piss reasonably normally without constantly hitting your head on the floor or ceiling or whatever way up you may be at the time. Anyone that claims to have experienced anything other than a living nightmare during outer space travel has clearly never traveled in outer space. Either that or outer space is nothing remotely similar to what we have been told it is.
