Nope. Yang is "ahead" of the problem. Worst case..it is later or less destructive… Still.. Better to get ahead of it yes?!

Interesting guest. I agree Yang has many ideas, knowledge, is open minded, smart, a good communicator and is not divisive ….also a forward thinker which is missing with our politicians and most people who tend to live in the now. To prepare, we need to think about where we are going.
I'm so suspicious that roboticists and people who manage AI companies keep changing the subject from "AI is going to be terrifying" to "AI is not terrifying, right now."
So many of these guys are saying that Musk and Yang in particular are too nervous, because the CURRENT state of AI isn't scary. Nobody's scared of AI, now. We're all afraid of what AI obviously could be in the future. The discussion is about how to keep AI from going too far.
The thing about self driving cars not being the only kind of vehicle on the road for another 30 years makes sense. Elon musk touched on it once. He said that the life cycle of vehicles made today is pretty long. So it doesn't make sense that people are gonna complete ditch them for self driving cars, and even if they did, they're likely to sell that car to someone not take it to a junkyard.
