Almost daily now, I'm shocked by how much stuff is being automated, and what AI can do.. Regardless of the timeline, it's happening, and once it really takes off, that trend will accelerate. People won't know what hit us, so we really should prepare to change how our society functions. I can't see any other way.
Wow, Lex really did a 180 on Yang in just a little over 1 year.
Starts off by saying Yang doesn't understand much about AI, proceeds to give his opinion on UBI.. is he an economist??
Fan of Lex….But he's the biggest Musk fan boy and at the same time dismisses Yang? Cmon man.
They can replace a dry cargo driver but not a flatbed, car carrier, oil tanker, step deck driver. That's wayyy off. That cargo gets loose along the road and can really hurt people if there's not somone there to restrap or chain the load. Even a refrigerated trailer breaks and if you don't get somone out there fast enough to fix it your talking about hundreds of thousands of dollars of damages. You can automate the truck but not the trucker.
