the circumstances where people are now willfully choosing a delusion, or edit truth and reality to avoid having any negative feelings about themselves is also part of the comfort crisis. people are now able to divorce themselves from certain details they dislike. its self centered and narcissistic …but it also goes deeper…where some say our brains seek the path of pleasure. we dont willfully seek pain in the physical or mental…unless there is a fetish ir other factors that are nurtured over our natural instincts. so we self edit. denial for the sake of avoiding the reality that you may not be who think you are. ive seen this hijack people's entire destiny. its more abstract…and conceptual…and at the same time…pretty basic. my body likes a soft mattress…my mind prefers fantasy over reality. one is wayyyyyyy worse than the other. please get into this subject. the real meat n potatoes.

I feel anything but comfortable in life at the moment. I think I’d prefer to not feel like my skin needs peeling off.
