Soooo what if pushing ourselves (i.e. rucking, going to the gym, exploring and going out on excursions) is our comfort, and our discomfort is in front of the damn screen which unfortunately is now what is required for our survival? (who is paying your bills and helping you provide food, shelter, etc.. for your family). I h8 being in front of a screen, so I make certain I'm out moving for the majority of the day. I think it goes beyond comfort and happiness, and I see his point. I loved Scarcity Brain more as it expounds further on "discomfort" and hones in on the stress component,.
Yep absolutely. I'm waiting for a fight club or even zombies so there's something to stay outside for. Lol I think we're probably going need something like this soon too keep us from dying anyway.
Isn't diet and exercise just self-imposed torture? If only they could make it more comfortable 😭
