As man, @Grace Digital Network, we have two Fathers and Mothers, God is Father and Earth mother, so which ones does Solomon mean becomes the question.
If our earthly father is a materialism hungry and drunkard with our mother overbearing and selfrightous slave driver are we to follow them obediently? On the other hand, God gives just instructs us from within to explore Mother Earth's environment to discover "The Appropriate Lifestyle" for us to govern ourselves by determining the causes, consequences, effects and purpose for NOT living similar lifestyles as Jesus did beginning at age 12, I must suppose, after exploring the environment until then. Then Jesus instructs us in Matthew 19:29 & John 3:3-8 to do the same, again I suppose, after realizing Genesis 1:26-29 indicates that's how man are to live. So of the two father/mother examples, which one was Solomon Instructing us to obey?
Amen. God is merciful. He always forgives. Never be ashamed to take your failures to him. He is for you, not against you! God is with you in the storm. He knows your troubles, he hears you! He is for you, on your side, always! It may feel silent at times, but he’s holding you close! May the Lord return soon! We are drawing closer. He is coming!
