As a Brit I should’ve supported BJS. However it was his attitude in the build up to the fight that made me think “well this guy deserves an ass whooping and humbling”. Fair play to Billy come fight night he put on a good performance and actually won some of the early rounds and gained confidence working off his jab and even landing the occasional counter check hook. However it was Canelo’s power that proved too much for BJS and as the fight developed and Canelo turned up the tempo, BJS couldn’t live with the onslaught and the power. I hope he realised after that fight that there’s levels to boxing and he’s not quite in Canelo’s league.
