Imagine you are Asian from a poor background, your parents didn't help you, your father left and your mother is alcoholic, but you still worked very hard to enter a good University and you perform better than a black from a rich background, and they priviledge the black because you're supposed to be "priviledged" and the black guy is supposed to be "oppressed".
Everyone should read about Mindy Kaling's brother who pretended to be black on his medical school application, so he could get accepted. He is an Indian guy, and in his first application, he was rejected, when he applied as an Indian.

Chinese people were in the US before 1850. They lived and worked in the US, raised children, and yet they were treated like trash. They couldn't own homes, businesses, or anything. They were only allowed to be laborers. I'm African born and raised in Europe however, if I was African American I'd be really offended at being admitted Havard not on academic ground but for personality reasons. Tell me I'm not good enough without telling me I'm not good enough…what an insult.
