As a Berkeleyite, I'm so sorry to know that this shit happened to you, Adam. I lived in Berkeley while you were there, and as a whole I feel the town should have done better by you. Totally understand why you chose to leave, just sorry to know that it went down like that. Have always loved the Counting Crows and was delighted to catch your Satellites tour at the Greek. Fun fact: once when I was looking for a place to rent I was shown a place in the hills that supposedly you had just moved out of. I didn't rent it, and wasn't sure if it was true, but then at that show you kinda gestured in that direction and said that you'd lived up there. And during that show the comet was vaguely visible even through the metropolis light pollution and usual evening fog. I went home from that show discussing the quality of your lyrics with a local singer-songwriter friend. Thanks for those lovely memories.
