Thats line. If your going to beat the champion, you gotta beat the champion. Is utter BULL SH1T. that doesn't exist. THIS IS SPORT.
In the words of Roy Jones, the first half of a fight (boxing, MMA) means a little less than the last half. It's more important how a guy finishes than how he starts, even on the point system. It's also human nature to see it that way.
Joe and Rashad are missing the most important point: Dom had a great fight against Jones and probably won a close one, but the much bigger problem is this: he let it bother him SO MUCH that he got starched in his next few fights and he's never been the same since. It's like a cold KO effect that puts a guy to sleep. Dom is hanging onto it psychologically, which makes it far worse for him as if he got massacred. Needs to let it go, refocus, start fresh. Not let Jones live rent free in his head from that night fwd.

Jon Jones somehow never crossed paths in the ring with Mcgregor Khabib Brock Francis just to name a few but people say he is the best ever in history.smh. based on the way people hype Jones up he actually lost against Reyes in my view.
