Exodus 3/2 And the Messenger of Yahweh appeared him in a flame of fire out of the middle of a thorn bush, and he looked, and there was the thorn bush burning with fire, and the thorn bush was not consumed. 3 And Moses said, 'Now I will turn aside and see this wonderful sight, why the thorn bush has not burned.' 4 And when Yahweh saw that he had turned aside to look, Elohim called to him out of the midst of the thorn bush, and He said, 'Moses, Moses!'
And he said, 'Here I am.'
5 And He said, 'Do not draw near here. Take your sandals off your feet, for the place where you are standing is ground set apart.
6 And He said, I am Elohim of your father, Elohim of Abraham, Elohim of Isaac, and Elohim of Jacob.'

13 And Moses said to Elohim, 'Indeed, when I go to the sons of Israel, and I say to them, "Elohim of your fathers has sent me to you," and they say to me, "What is His name?", what shall I say to them?'

Ehyeh Asher Ehyeh אֶֽהְיֶ֖ה אֲשֶׁ֣ר אֶֽהְיֶ֑ה = I Will Be Who I Will Be… Moses saw a vision that's why the thorn bush was not consumed notice Yahweh saw Moses turn aside to look had to of been seeing who this Man in the vision was cause he already saw the bush was burning which appeared to him in a FLAME of fire. Remember God is Spirit an invisible Spirit out of the midst of the thorn bush he said think John 12/28-29 could said Elohim said in the midst of Heaven..obviously nobody saw God there same thing in Exodus 3.
Now pay close attention God/Elohim was sending Moses to other Israelites in Egypt who already knew him as Yahweh Elohim but were obviously disobedient in the past so we're in bondage and what was told in verse12 was a shadow of things to come so verse 13 Moses would tell them the Elohim of their fathers sent him to them… obviously Moses would be telling them about what happened and the flame of fire in the burning bush that wasn't consumed because it was a vision, that's when they would ask, "What is His name?" Speaking of the one in the vision because they know the God of their fathers hence Moses said He Will Be Who He Will Be (I know, I Will Be Who I Will Be)it's in parable cause it's only for remnant to understand and now listen closely cause that's not all Elohim said to tell them about the vision
Exodus 3/15 And Elohim also said to Moses, 'You shall say this to the sons of Israel: "Yahweh Elohim of your fathers, Elohim of Abraham, Elohim of Isaac, and Elohim of Jacob, has sent me to you. This is My name by which I am to be remembered from generation to generation.
He gave Moses revelation of the coming King at end of age for times we are in now! This is My name from the vision saying this is my authority, the gospel of the Kingdom message began way before Jesus came Jesus expounded more on it in his time but we know Moses went to the Israelites and told them all about the coming one with Joseph blessing and obviously the stories were passed down from generation to generation so prophets would know, don't believe it, see what else Moses wrote
Deuteronomy 33/16 and with the best of the land and its fulness and the favor of him who lived in the bush. Let it come on the head of Joseph and on the top of the head of him who is set apart from his brothers.
