In 2046 Hong Kong should remove anything of value then destroy all structures. Dump radioactive waste, chemical waste, etc. all over the land then leave.
Dear Melissa, please don't pretend that you know about China just because you're ethnically Chinese. There's a reason why you chose to live in the states. Your views are already coloured to begin with. These conversations are far from objective.

And we pushed Russia right over to China. The US and Russia should be allies given the realities. But, all these idiots keep hanging on to Cold War mentalities and fears, and more worried about the cultural/moral differences than the reality of what it might take to preserve anything even resembling Western culture and morals. And so it goes…
What I've been saying for a long while now. We (Americans) have allowed making money to overrule common sense and national security. China – sad to tell you, folks – is a LOT smarter and more world savvy that we are as a culture. Americans want the fast buck and immediate comfort. Chinese play the long game. And it will be both sad and laughable if/when we go to war with China and they neutralize us by simply cutting off the supply chain for things that we no longer know how to produce for ourselves.
