  1. U.S. is the world's capital of mediocrity. Mediocrity is celebrated. Before I came to U.S. I never realized you SUPPOSE to like really really shitty movies and Tv shows, because it was cool. An then it got even worse– they added WOKE crap. Every Best- of book list HAS to have a black, a Hispanic, some LGBTQIM+ regardless of talent. Ultimate was Obama's Nobel Peace Prize given to him for being half black.. nothing else.

  2. Melissa you have NO idea what you babbling about. What nonsense! Japanese and Chinese and Korean girls were WILD in college. They finally left parents total control and really let loose. That's was my experience.

  3. I think Melissa's generalization fits many (though not all of course) international students from Asia well but not necessarily Asian Americans. In fact, in the Harvard case, Asian American applicants had also scored better in extra curricula activities. They were just as much the trophy kids as others. Also, Asian Americans scored as well as others in the interviews conducted by Harvard alums. So it is weird that Harvard admission staff, who never had any direct interaction with the candidates like the Harvard alums, somehow consistently gave Asian American applicants lower "personality" score. Note that after Harvard got exposed for their questionable practice because of the case, the percentage of AA in the incoming class at Harvard had jumped from the 22-23% that's been constant for a very long time to the 26%-28% range in the most recent cycles. It's as if Harvard took some corrective action to tone down their "discrimination".
