Andrew Yang's run was a pretty good explanation why democracy is such a horrible political model. Andrew campaigns his heart out and Bloomberg just buys hundreds of millions of dollars of ads and just blows out the polling numbers. Then you have established politicians who just bulldoze Andrew over in the early voting. I think Jay Leno used to say on the Tonight Show when he went out on the street to ask folks simple government questions which most couldn't answer, "you get the government you deserve"…
The founding fathers designed a republic, but democracy essentially voted that model out. Now they want to get rid of the Electoral College. Oh wait, no, they WANT the EC type voting once the "brokered convention" happens so they can toss Bernie out. Funny how democracy is good when the elites would win, and it's bad when the elites would lose.
