  1. 1 Samuel 18/17 And Saul said to David, 'Here is my older daughter Merab. I will give her to you as your wife. Only you be a son of valour, and fight Yahweh's battles,' for, Saul said, 'Let my hand not be against him, but let the hand of the Philistines be against him.'
18 And David said to Saul, 'Who am I, and what is my life, or my father's family in Israel that I should be son-in-law to the king? 19
But it came about, at the time when Merab, Saul's daughters, should have been given to David, that she had been given to Adriel the Meholathite as a wife. 20 And Michal, Saul's daughter, loved David, and they told Saul, and the matter pleased him. 21
And Saul said, 'I will give him to her so that she might be a snare to him, and so that the hand of the Philistines might be against him.'
So Saul said to David a second time, 'This day you will be my son-in-law.' 22
And Saul commanded his servants, 'Speak with David secretly, and say, "Look, the king has delight in you, and all his servants love you. Now, then, be the king's son-in-law." '

Numbers 36/5 And Moses commanded the sons of Israel in keeping with the word of Yahweh, saying, 'The tribe of the sons of Joseph [Manasseh & Ephraim] have spoken well. 6
This is the thing that Yahweh commands concerning the daughters of Zelophehad [Manasseh Joseph Numbers 27/1], saying, "Let them marry whom they think best. They shall only marry into the family of the tribe of their father, 7 so that the inheritance of the sons of Israel shall not change hands from tribe to tribe. Each one of the sons of Israel shall keep to the inheritance of the tribe of his fathers. 8
'And every daughter who possesses an inheritance in any tribe of the sons of Israel shall be the wife to somebody from the family of the tribe of her father, so that the sons of Israel can each enjoy the inheritance of his fathers. 9 Nor shall the inheritance change hands from one tribe to another tribe but each one of the tribes of the sons of Israel shall keep himself to his own inheritance." ' 10
The daughters of Zelophehad did as Yahweh commanded Moses. 11 For Mahlah, Tirzah, and Hoglah, and Milcah, and Noah, the daughters of Zelophehad, were married to the sons of their father's brothers. 12 They were married into the families of the sons of Manasseh, the son of Joseph, and their inheritance remained in the tribe of the family [Joseph] of their father. [Zelophehad = Manasseh]

And Ziba said to the king, 'There is still a son of Jonathan, lame of foot.'
4 And the king said to him, 'Where is he?'
And Ziba said to the king, 'Well, He is in the house[tribe] of Machir[of Gilead of Manasseh], the son of Ammiel [the Mother, dad Jonathan is dead], in Lodebar.'
5 Then king David sent word, and he brought him out of the house of Machir, the son of Ammiel, from Lo Debar. 6 Now when Mephibosheth, the son of Jonathan, the son of Saul, came to David

2 Samuel 21/7 But the king spared Mephibosheth, the son of Jonathan, the son of Saul, because of Yahweh's oath between them, between David and Jonathan, the son of Saul.
Hebrews 6/16…and such oath for confirmation is to them an end of all contradiction. 17
In this way, God, wishing more abundantly to show to the heirs of the promise the unchangeableness of His counsel, intervened with an oath, 18 so that, by two unchangeable things, in which it is impossible for God to lie, we who have fled for refuge to lay hold of the hope set before us can have strong encouragement, 19 which we have as an anchor of life, firm and secure, and making entrance into the inner area of the veil, 20 where a forerunner has entered for us, Jesus

And he blessed them that day, saying, 'In you Israel will be a blessing, saying, "May Elohim make you as Ephraim and as Manasseh." '
