The NBA showed that they care more about $$$ than actual justice. It was really shameful what went down. Thanks for speaking the truth on such a big forum.
When china subsidies Xiaomi that's unfair economic warfare, but usa backs it's banks and that's cool? jesus, she's full of shit.
Calm down there fellas. Unless you're Asian educated and have 3 jobs she cant take you home. Lol
The NBA, the Chinese gov money and “wokeness”. I see a certain pattern in Chen’s talking points. The first organization is front facing, predominantly African/African American player wise. Behind the scenes not so much. The money China has is spread wide around the planet in lots of African countries and Caribbean as well. The program of help has massive strings to the detriment of the helped, it’s capitalism 101. The “woke” term comes from the black community in the USA. Her poke at the selective woke is a trap for herself as I can’t say she’s showing up for any person of African descent. In observation from her commentary on wokeness seems to have roots in anti-blackness. I wouldn’t expect her to cop to this mind you. It’s just one of the ways that the world will use blackness to their benefit, even as a means to snub the very origins of the term. How is her woke issues with Taiwan and China so superior to the issues of black/African diaspora. If the idea that we should all get fair balances opportunities, then having a talking point to snub being politically, social, economically and culturally awoken seems a big contradiction.
I wonder now btwn Huawei and Facebook Twitter and the rest which is better I think this woman is misleading people
