Elephants don’t paint. They move the brush based on which way they are being stabbed. If riding them makes you feel bad, stabbing them obviously would too. The guy stabbing him is standing in front and to the right of the elephant in the video.

Do you really think elephants enjoy painting? Are they creating art to exhibit their emotions to other elephants? Doubt it. They are trained to do it, just like any other animal in a zoo.
