  1. There's no need for wolf sanctuaries. There's plenty of wolves killing off the wildlife in the northern Rocky states of Idaho, Montana, and Wyoming. They're spreading to other states as well. Last night I heard wolves howling here in Idaho outside my house. They were coming down the mountainside and suddenly the howling stopped. A brief pause and then the coyotes started chattering like crazy as the wolves laced into them. I've actually seen a wolf do this once where I live. Those wolves hate those coyotes.

Anyway, no need for these do gooders folks to be spending money time and effort on some animals that have no real use. Best scenerio would be to euthanize them and move on. There's so many wolves now in the wild that I would take an incredible effort of hunting persecution and poisoning to get their numbers down.

What folks really should've been focused on is the Selkirk woodland caribou. The rarest of caribou and only a handful are left in the wild. And yeah, they have to live alongside of mountain lion, black and grizzly bears, and you guessed it wolves. They are considered functionally extinct.
