Quentin, Bill changes in his movies because it's called a character arc. Chevy movies don't have that and it's because it's not good writing. We want to see characters affected by their decisions and by their environment or by events that happen around us because guess what, that's what happens to people in life. Stuff happens and we adjust sometimes. The 80 movies were a reaction to the 70's where there were anti-heros throughout the entire movie. Capitalism also affected the movies of the 80's where greed took over and multiple sequels were more a common place.

I disagree about the 80's movies……Some of the best movies came out in that decade and I still watch a ton of those movies to this day.
