Rogan is right. Every once in a while you go to the movies and see a picture that sticks with you for an extended period of time. Those are the best cinematic experiences. Close Encounters, Platoon, Goodfellas, Raiders of the Lost Ark, Pulp Fiction, Saving Private Ryan, Skyfall, Apocalypse Now Redux, Full Metal Jacket.. I haven't seen a movie that has blown me away in a while though
I remember listening to a review of QT dialog and they pointed out that the trivial things such as a burger or foot massages are talked about with huge importance to the characters but things that should be serious like blowing a head off a guy in the car are talked about like a joke.
