This explains the 3 body problem better
I think it's funny that Greene is SO sure that aliens haven't been here in spite of overwhelming evidence to the contrary. Studying LIFE is interesting in itself because any life on a planet is so rare as far as we have learned. Yesterday some video was saying that the JWST has seen lights on some planet and they suggested that the lights were cities. I didn't watch it because I think it's farfetched.
I for one, hope that "aliens" do want to come take over, SOON! Humans have done an absolute shite job of managing this planet!
One walking through the wood's come's accross some insect's doing what ever those particular insect's do on a day to day, every day bases. And because they are not personally envolved in what they are doing. May watch couriously for a moment, but eventually get's bored and continue's on their walk. There was a time when we were not any where nearly being as intelligent to day as we are compared to yesterday. And yet with all the intelligence we have gained over the millenium's. Continue to do to any and all other biological life form's in addition to one another as well as ourselves. The same thing's we have always done in the way we do it, what we do, when we do, how we do etc. etc. etc. Thus one can only conclude that though it's never been debateable with any other biological life form. We can state in no uncertain alphbetical, numerical and categorical term's. WE are the more intelligent, but then doing what we do, when we do, how we do etc. etc. etc. Also cause us unlike any other biological life form that doesn't do what we do, when we do, how we do etc. etc. etc. No where near being the smartest or we simply wouldn't do what, when, how, why etc etc etc. It's been said and to the N-th degree, agreed upon by everyone. That only human's are not only envolved but are the only biological life from that has a purpose. The one thing that has changed from our eariest existence beside's the graphic's, the technology in which we've been searching for "Purpose" we had yesterday vs today. Is spelled; GREED!.
I think we are an experiment. They stop by from time to time looking for intelligent life. Turns out there isnt any.
