Can someone please accurately explain the Trinity to me? It seems easier to believe that Jesus was just a man who was exalted above all others, but scriptures say that he preexisted with God even before his earthly conception. So does that really mean that God is three but one at the same time? Is the Holy Spirit not just God? Since the Holy Spirit is described as simply the spirit of God and only the spirit of someone truly knows that person which is why Jesus said that the Holy Spirit will not testify of himself but only speaks what he hears. But isn't God the Father already a Spirit? So the holy spirit is the spirit of a Spirit? And in what form did Jesus exist before his birth? Was he already alive with a separate conscious, or since God already knew that Jesus would be sent into the world before everything and since the greek word for describing Jesus in John 1 is logos(word, idea, thought, logic), does that mean that God only placed some of his essence into Jesus, so that Jesus had divine knowledge of all things, and so from that perspective he placed Himself in the place of God in his own words when talking about God in the Old Testament? Few of the rejected books I've read of the New Testament still claim Jesus' deity and one of them even says of Jesus, "the one to whom God spoke at the foundation of the world and said, 'let us make man in our image'" so I guess that makes it conclusive that he was with God at the beginning. I just have a hard time assigning partners to God, and have a hard time understanding it fully. But the bible's always been like that I guess..
