Joh 8:31-32 Then said Jesus to those Jews which believed on him, If ye continue in my word, then are ye my disciples indeed; And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free". To those who believed in him, Jesus said, “You are truly my disciples if you keep obeying my teachings.” As the following verses demonstrate, some of these new believers did not remain his followers for long. But Jesus urged those who really wanted to remain his disciples to hold to, or continue in, his teachings. John’s report of the failure of one group of followers is a strong lesson. We need to count the cost of following Jesus (see Luk_14:25-35). A true and obedient disciple will know the truth by knowing the one who is the truth, Jesus himself (Joh_1:17; Joh_14:6). This knowledge frees people from their bondage to sin (see Joh_8:34). When Jesus spoke of “knowing the truth,” he was speaking of knowing God’s revelation to people. This revelation is embodied in Jesus himself, the Word; therefore, to know the truth is to know Jesus. The truth is not political freedom or intellectual knowledge. Knowing the truth means accepting it, obeying it, and regarding it above all earthly opinion. Doing so offers true spiritual freedom from sin and death. Believers become truly free because they are free to do God’s will, and thus fulfill God’s ultimate purpose in their lives. As believers, we have the Holy Spirit living within us and guiding us on our journey through life.

But first let me say I'm really starting to feel like GOD is an absentee landlord. I have loved and followed him my whole life 52yrs and have ALWAYS GIVEN THANKS FOR ALL I HAVE BEEN BLESSED WITH THE BLESSINGS IM AWARE OF AND ANY IM NOT. AND IN THE LAST TWO YEARS I HAVE LOST EVERYTHING BUT MY DAUGHTERS AND GRAND CHILDREN EVERYTHING MY WIFE, HOME, CAR AND ALL OF MY POSSESSIONS THAT I COULDN'T FIT INTO A FEW DUFFLE BAGS WHILE SO MANY PEOPLE AROUND ME WHO DON'T CARE AT ALL ABOUT GOD AND ARE FILTHY, CORRUPT, GARBAGE HAVE LITERALLY PROSPERED. BUT HERE'S MY QUESTION NO ONE CAN ANSWER: HOW DID TWO OF EVERY ANIMAL SOME HOW MAGICALLY SWAM ACROSS ENTIRE OCEANS TO MEET AT A BOAT WHICH IS A STORY TOLD FIRST 4000 YRS BEFORE NOAH THE FLOOD OF ZIADOTRA. (I know I spelled that name wrong) BUT THEN 2000 YEARS BEFORE NOAH (THE FLOOD OF GIGANTISM) AND WHY DID GOD SUPPOSEDLY HAVE BEARS MULL TO DEATH CHILDREN FOR MAKING FUN OF A MAN??? AND WHY DID HE HAVE TO HAVE HIS SON BRUTALLY MURDERED AND SACRIFICED TO HIMSELF SO THAT HE COULD FORGIVE US FOR OUR SINS OR WHY WAS IT OK TO DO THE HORRIBLE THINGS HE DID TO JOBE JUST TO PROVE A POINT TO LUCIFER LIKE LUCIFER CALLED GOD A CHICKEN SO GOD HAD TO PROVE TO HIM BY MAKING HIS MOST LOYAL PERSON SUFFER AND I DON'T CARE IF HE GAVE HIM MORE BACK THAN HE HAD BEFORE IT DIDN'T STOP HIM FROM SUFFERING BEFORE THAT AND HE LET LUCIFER MURDER JOBES WIFE AND KIDS AND ALL THOSE ANIMALS HE HAD.THE PLANET ISN'T ONLY 6000yrs old I could go on and on IF U BELIEVE HALF OF THE OTHER STUPID BULLSH*T IN THE BIBLE THAN EXPLAIN TO ME HOW IT HAPPENED AND DON'T COME AT ME REGURGITATING A BIBLE PASSAGE OR WITH THIS COPOUT ANSWER OF WITH GOD ALL THINGS ARE POSSIBLE.
