  1. It bothers me how Joe somehow decides that was this guy says it the truth, even though it very much isn't. That becomes clear ones you look at the facts. The article never said he didn't do what he actually did, nor did it say it wasn't impressive. It pointed out the fact that he's heavily exaggerating what he's done, and presenting it as something it's not. He might have done something impressive, but he's a dishonest guy without integrity, doing what he does the easiest way possible to get cheap fame.

  2. 'Fiennes also achieved a world first in 1992-1993 by completing the first unsupported crossing of the Antarctic Continent with Mike Stroud in what was the longest unsupported polar journey in history.' "O'Brady and an Englishman, Army Captain Louis Rudd, 49, set off individually on November 3 from Union Glacier." That hardly sounds like a solo effort…..Why O'Brady would choose to exaggerate his efforts makes no sense to me, because whatever the case maybe, walking that distance, in those conditions places him and Mr. Rudd in an elite category anyway.

  3. Colin is seriously playing the victim here.

He spent years hyping up his achievement and milking every ounce of publicity he could find.

And now he's back tracking and pretending to take the high road by saying "aren't we all winners?".
