  1. The word repent actually has nothing to do with sin itself as there are several scriptures throughout the old testament saying that God himself repented. It repented the Lord that he'd made man in the very first book of Genesis.

To repent isn't meant to be an everyday session of begging for forgiveness of sins. To repent is a one time event where you go from unbelief to belief in the gospel of Jesus. We are saved by belief in Jesus(John 3:14-18,Acts 16:30-31) and Jesus is the atonement for our sin. Peter said repent for the remission of sins. Remission means canceling of sins. We are already forgiven for our sins says 1 John 2:12, Jude v 1 says that we are sanctified by God and preserved in Jesus, Jude v 24 says that Jesus will keep us from falling and present us FAULTLESS before God. We are saved by grace thru faith and not of works. 1 John 3:22-24 shows our only commandments are to believe in Jesus and to love one another ❤️

Stop stressing over losing your salvation. Paul says we are sealed by the Holy Spirit until the Day of Redemption (Ephesians 4:30)

Jesus says I will cast away none that come to me and they belief we are saved(John 6:37-40)

  2. Repentance is not going to work for everyone. Y’all need to stop thinking that God loves everybody when he doesn’t. Deuteronomy 1:1. Isaiah 14:1-3. 2 Esdras 6:56. Revelations 1:14-15. Revelations 13:10. God only cares about one nation and it’s the Israelites which are the so called Blacks, Hispanics, Native Americans, and Seminole Indians.

  3. This Book of the Bible attests to the truth of the Bible in this sense: why would God's prophet be such a small, petty, jackass as to make you question both God's prophet and the character of his people? Granted, Jonah is never entirely unrepentant in his own right, he is just left on a path that will take much longer than the three days in the whale. That is my opinion. Jonah had to re-evaluate his relationship with Jehovah after this mission! 🙂

  4. The definition of repent is to change. So when you repent it simply means to change. Stop doing wrong and start doing right. We are in school. Your sin is expected. Once you become aware of you errors then you are responsible.
