Because my skin pigment is darker than yours (and happens to be closer to the people who populate Haiti), then ……. Wow, it just blows the mind how this obsession with race seems to override all logical reasoning. Maybe the guy didn't mean anything by it, but said it anyway because its just a ‘normal’ thing for someone of his background to say, but its still crazy to me how race, dominates so much in western (& esp American) culture. Big congrats to Joe for not responding to that statement.
