In the Book of The Yellow Emperor, a short bio describes him as a child prodigy as well at very young age. Gifted Savants have existed throughout history, and many goes unnoticed too. Evolution, physical and spiritual, is very unique. My only qualm w/ the Yogi teachings, it's a very human centric thought process in their reasonings/conclusions. Yes, some of them make perfect sense, and yet, it leaves a "hole" in the psyche as to "why"…..therein lies the faith in Christianity that trumps them all, accept God as one's salvation and just give in to his omnipotence in order to feel the "answers" to living, vs mentally processing everything via our imperfect body/brain/experiences…..
Consciousness is energy. Energy cannot be destroyed, only transformed. Our consciousness, or "soul" is eternal and dwells in another place when we are not in a reincarnation. That other place is our true home, where we have dwelt for millennia. We reincarnate here (and probably other places as well) because we have something to learn or something to do. When we complete the reason for our present life, we return to our true home, where we have soul clans and soul mates. When we are successful in the reason why we reincarnated, we can achieve a higher level of consciousness and become closer to the Divine Source, which is the soul's noble purpose.
