The word ganesha is a compound word consist of 2 vedic Sanskrit words gana(army) and isha(commander)
Its a name for the indra. The monotheistic suprime and only god mentioned in vedas.
There is NOT A SINGLE verse in any of 4 vedas that says ganesha hes ANYTHING TO DO WITH elephants let alone has a elephant head.
Show me just a single verse from any of the 4 vedas that talks about ganesha having elephant head or his father being shiva. All of these are hindu stories not found in vedas and some of these are written as later as late delhi sultanet era. Id est 15th-14th century CE (not BCE but CE)
