That crowd pop tho 👌🏾
God schaub is so annoying. “Who won that round?” Callen “Felder” Schaub: “No”. Then Eddie calls him on his bullshit on why why he even asked that question then
Lets get Paul 'The Welder' Felder on the show
3-2 for Felder. He won the first two rounds and round 4.
All of the guys are complete morons.
It’s crazy to say that Shaub is the most intelligent and respectful one in the room.
Felder brought it all fight, knocked him back several times with great strikes, returned every leg kick with a stronger one, and controlled the cage the whole time. Hooker ran and hugged him a few times and got one takedown.
I’m not saying it wasn’t close. But Eddies notion about “the guy that looks the best wins”, is just bullshit.
That means anyone with scar tissue – whether from previous damage or from a genetic proclivity to take more visible damage – is significantly more likely to lose given a totally equal fight. It also assumes that there is no way for someone who even knows a little bit about what they’re watching to tell the difference between a strike landed and a much more effective strike landed, or, for that matter, someone running the whole fight or someone controlling the whole fight.
Maybe if we had to have 7 year old girls judge the fights, we would tell them to watch who has more visible damage at the end to get some a result somewhat consistent with who actually won on average, but that isn’t the case.
I think this fight went that way for 2 reasons, against all the ones I just gave which vastly outweigh them; Felder’s eye was closed, and the takedown.
I’m sorry, but given the other factors in the fight, those two things don’t even come close to making up the difference.
If Hooker wanted to win by takedown, in my mind he would have had to take him down a few times, in a couple different rounds, hold him there and do some damage to him.
This whole “I took him down and accomplished nothing in the last 20 seconds of the fight so I win a fight I would have otherwise lost by far is just retarded.
Anyone with eyes could tell that Felders strikes, but the punches and leg kicks, were all more effective than Hooker’s.
I think Hooker even looked embarrassed after the fight.
