I get that rush of emotion when I pick up on someone’s moment also. I finally got my daughter who is legally blind to find a passion in something after years of her watching us dedicate to her sisters sports. She chose music and started drumming. The feeling that comes over me when she shows me something she learned and she kills it, it’s astonishing, it does something to me that I can’t explain. I’m sure knowing she would have to work twice as hard for anything in life because she’s legally blind encourages that feeling. But when she nails some shit, there’s nothing I can do to block whatever she is putting jnto the universe.
