  1. So, I feel bad for this guy. From what I understand about aging and the theory I've heard about how to stop it that seems to make sense to me, we are missing a couple big leaps in the technology needed that could take quite a long time (50+ years). Like, we need to be able to edit most cells in our body to repair a decayed part of our DNA that happens thru long term cell reproduction/mutation. Our bones would probably be fine for much longer but this includes our organs each possibly needing to be treated slightly differently. It's also possible that something we need is a earlier version of these cells(from an age of say 15-20 at the end of growth). Most likely just a computer file that's a breakdown of the cells at an earlier state because Idk how else to store them and keep time from changing them (freezing could damage it).

Personally, my bets on a Ghost in the shell, brains in androids solution being the one we are closer to. I've seen some cool brain controlled machines/computer projects gaining ground and they are easier to justify paying for reasearch in because they can help people with missing limbs. Which I feel is a more worthy cause then "we need to fight death faster so I personally don't die" that I feel is a core part of why some people push for the research so hard.

Inb4 I won't be able to afford an Android body when I'm old (in 50 years if we somehow got there by then)…. probably not but I think too long of a life would also be bad, no matter my physical age.
