  1. Yeah, I always felt that whole link between fasting and lifespan was BS. For two reasons:

    1) I've seen of slim/skinny people who don't eat much die at normal ages. One was a family member.

    2) Muslims fast 30 days a year for like ten hours straight in each. If fasting really extended lifespan, Muslim countries would be producing a lot of centenarians and such, and they don't.

  2. Human can develop his body and restore the old body's young structures and functions, and forget about the inevitable death. The human body has powerful recovery mechanisms for this.
