Its simple. People need a purpose, feel their worth. In the past, most had trades, skills that developed in time. Even in a factory environment, knowledge was still prized. Its a fact that the mortality rate for men is incredibly high when they retire and do not have another avenue to spend their energy on. In the next 10 years, i cant fathom what will happen. People with no need or worth, just living to serve the next person who's above them; who's doing the same. All automated. The majority of jobs are service roles now. Im not looking down on that, but im confident thats not what people want to do 40hrs a week…flogging tack on the phone. I hate seeing people just ticking along and not being their best.
