If you’ve seen the latest news about Funimation, then you understand why people either pirate, or buy the DVDs and Blu-rays still.
If you have favorite movies, it's actually important to own them on DVD or Blu-ray. What if your Internet went down and you couldn't stream anything.
Besides, who wouldn't want to physically own their favorite entertainment. DVD can have cool cover artwork and you can display it on your shelf.
DVD are like a relics of the past there’s lots of movie that doesn’t stream that movie in dvd so it’s important to keep it
Better to collect dvds and blurays, which is a sign of intelligence, than to smoke dope Joe "idiot" Rogan.
When you stream a movie, you don’t own it. streaming services only have certain movies for a month or 2. If you buy a dvd you own the film. You don’t have to keep going back to back on a streaming service to watch it. You have a copy that’ll last forever. Yes I know you can buy the film on a service. Like amazon allows you to buy films digitally but with a dvd you can take it anywhere without having to deal with internet issues
