Only served to reinforce what kata is for, we watched a literal slow motion replay of my mans reaction knocking someone out cold. Like There wasn’t even a lot of power to it. One could say that the constant work into kata reps and sparring together produced that result.
That's why I like Kyokushin karate. Full contact, no gloves.
