When we were studing in the university , were told as most of us the classical teory that Melchizedek was a protype of Christ that brought wine and bread , and had made pesce with all the kings after battle of Salim . His " name" is lterally translated as a "king of all" or "whole king " . But the battle of Salim is historicaly poor investigated . The names of those kings are stil quarable as the place . Some of Jews say that Melchizedek was from the pride of Bengiamin , but Jacob was born later . The main problem is with the historical place of the town . Jews say that it was there where now is Nalbus . But according to the Bible Salim is that land where Jacob had built first altar later and the well.
