Firstly why would anyone be against the bill? All the bill did was afford the same rights to trans people as it does everyone else in regards to not being discriminated against. Literally none of what Megan said here has happened. Joe getting all his ideas about Canada from right wing idiots is pretty stupid. In Canada we have "Freedom of expression" which is essentially freedom of speech and no you can't get arrested by a human rights tribunal.
In regards to Jessica Yaniv Megan forgets to mention that the human rights tribunal didn't side with Yaniv's complaint. There's also a difference between accidentally misgendering someone and doing it on purpose to be an asshole.

If they can get Roe v Wade overturned after decades, we can definitely get our gender identity legislation overturned when the time is right!
