“I hope you’re not enjoying your day by sitting on the f#cking couch.” This was the sentence that literally changed something within me. I cannot fully describe what it was, but it sparked a flame that completely changed my life. To honor the moment that helped me realize the direction I want to go in life, I created a one-minute video that sums up one of the most important lessons one can learn: you cannot be a winner in life if you are constantly focused on pleasure. There is little to learn while we're comfortable. You have to stand up from that couch, push yourself in the right direction, and build up your discipline. You have to fall to learn how to stand up. You cannot appreciate beauty without experiencing pain.
I've always had a strong urge to create, but I pushed it aside and spent most of my life trying to make other people happy, even if it meant sacrificing my own happiness. It was only after I stood up from that couch that I slowly started to take back control of my life. I started to create and pursue my own goals. I am grateful to Joe Rogan for delivering this strong message to the world, and to David Goggins for creating it. I hope that everyone reading this comment feels the passion with which I write this, and that it gives you the strength to stand up from that couch and pursue your own dreams!
Today is my birthday, I’ve been struggling recently but started going to the gym a few weeks ago. I had a heavy night drinking last night and I don’t want to do anything but.. WHOS GONNA CARRY THE BOATS.
