If you don't know know David is the tribe of Joseph than like the other 99% don't understand this passage or the allegory, do you not know about trees and vines in the Bible, how about blood & water?

Revelation 22/16 'I, Jesus, sent my Messenger to testify to you these things concerning the Ekklesia groups. I am the root and the Lineage of David, the Bright and Mourning Star.'

Jesus is the root of David because his blood/water(John 6/53-58) he supplied to David Ephraim and Jesus is Lineage of David through Joseph (read Matthew 1 and Luke 3 genealogy is obviously messed with, it's a coverup. Jeremiah 8/8) so I [Jesus] am the root [supplies life to] and the Lineage [tribe/Joseph] of David [Ephraim who has blood of covenant, who is], the Bright and Mourning Star [you better know scripture if you are to follow along have you already forgotten revelation 2?] I will give him the Morning Star that I also have received alongside my Father, I will give him [the Messenger David Ephraim] authority over the nations – him who comes off victorious… see rev 2/26-28

John 16/25 'These things I have spoken to you in allegories, but an hour is coming when I will no longer speak to you in allegories, but I will announce to you in plain speech about the Father.

The word father often has a much wider meaning any ancestor, founder, first ancestor, bringer up, nourisher, master, teacher, possessor. See 1 Corinthians 15/22-28 (Jesus steps down)

John 14/16 'And I will ask the Father, and He will give you another Counsellor, so that he might continue with you throughout the eon 17 – the Spirit of Truth, whom the world is not able to receive, because it does not perceive him, for he remains alongside you, and he will be among you. (Sound familiar?) John 1/11 He came to his own, yet his own did not receive him.
